- The first phase spans 10.6 km. In Phase 1, Dubai Tram will start from Dubai Marina, pass through Jumeirah Beach Road, Dubai Knowledge Village, Dubai Media City, Dubai Internet City and end at Al Sufouh.
- Each Dubai Tram will have 7 cabins and each cabin measures 3.5 meters in height and 44 meters in length. There will be a total of 11 Dubai Trams running in Phase 1.
- The journey from one end to the other will take 42 minutes and there will be a Dubai Tram every 6 minutes from 5:30 am to 12 midnight.
- Each tram has three classes of cabins: Gold, Silver and Women & Children.
- The tram can carry a maximum of 405 passengers at a time.
- Fare will be made through Nol cards.
- All Dubai Tram stations are air-conditioned, fitted with electronic doors and in sync with the latest international standards of comfort and design.
- Each station platform, measuring 45 meters, will be fitted with Platform Screen Doors separating the Dubai Tram cabins from the passengers’ terminal.
- The station platform capacity ranges between 270 passengers per lateral platform and 370 passengers per central platform.
- For passengers using wheelchairs or mobility aids, there is also a specially marked call button that allows these passengers extra time to enter or exit the Dubai Tram.
